Dental Bridges are used to replace a missing tooth / teeth and is less invasive when compared to dental implant. As the name implies, this appliance literally “bridges the gap” in your smile. There are different types of bridge such as Maryland, Cantilever, Implant Support Bridge , Traditional Dental Bridge etc.
You will require two visits to the practice for the construction and fitting of the bridge. On the first visit the dentist will take an impression of your bite for the bridge fabrication.
The impression will then be sent to a lab to create your customised bridge using porcelain prosthetics this normally takes 14 days. After 14 days you will need to arrange an appointment for the fitting and adjustments of the bridge to your bite.
